Apartment 36 m2, version 1- dry wall shelves

existing floorplan

This is floorplan of apartment which is part of family house and was separated in order to get one studio apartment with separate entrance. This apartment has large kitchen, even freezer, it has small storage which (I assume) was hall before. It has couch but doesn't have bed.

  • room                          28,9 m2
  • bathroom                   3,2m2
  • storage   3,5 m2

total 35,6 m2

MODIFIED FLOORPLAN

Storage is now bathroom, a former bathroom is part with bed. Layout is similar, but it has also added work desk.

  • room                          28, 9 m2
  • bathroom                  3,5m2
  • storage 3,2 m2

total 35,6 m2

RENDER

As originaly is not intended to be as studio, it doesn't have standard hall, so entrance in apartment is directly in the room.

Immediately on entrance there is small work desk- firstly, to move away couch from the entrance and of course to have place for laptop, papers etc. Shelving is made of dry wall.

This part is really to small to call it ''room'', it is so tiny that barely fits bed. This one is 120 cm wide. This tiny space also has one narrow wardrobe (50 cm wide, it's on the right. see on floorplan). Bed is really low, it looks like nest. Above bed is also storage for clothes.

This barrier is more psychological than physical.

Doors are white originally, but it's not so much expensive to paint them, at least. I now see that white is not good for this doors :).

To be honest, I cannot say if this would look cluttered in reality but according to model and math (30 m2 is lot of space) should be fine.

It is U-shaped. Smaller than oriignal, but has everything necessary.

That wall is originally empty (or has some doors which are not used anymore), but I consider this shelving pretty convenient. Anyway, in apartment there is no much room for decorations, books etc, so this is opportunity for that.

Since this studio apartment is for one or 2 persons, bigger table is not neded.
